Another late first ride of the season. A ton of new snow over the last week really opened things up. John and I headed to the Saguaneene Thursday for a two day ride. We started at Valinouet and everything was great. We passed RoadRunner and turned around to meet them. Great guys, who I'm sure we will see again. After that, we went to Chapelle, which was closed, probably all year. The C900 was plowed till 12/21 so we tried the back way to Sacre Couer, but that was overgrown. We headed to Onatchiway when I hit a rock on the power line, on the same stretch of trail I just ran [at twice the speed] to catch RR. Just my usual crap luck. Trip over, should be a simple repair. Still...150 miles in the books before most even dream off riding... |
