| This trip was a replacement for the cancelled season opener. Just three of us, John, Marty, and Me. Trails were a mix of 3-6-8. No new snow, but cold, so the sleds ran fine, except for a warped rotor on Johns sled, and my blown center shock. Marty had his usual of trail excursion, of course on Day 2 (350 miles), furthest from the hotel. Trail 484 which was apparently closed, led us on a great off trail excursion where we met two couples dog sledding, in the middle of nowhere, well above Lac St-Jean. |
