| Once again, this season ender consisted of John, Tom, and Gary. This one was extreme...burn the whole PQ. Extreme in 9-days on the trail. Extreme in 2600+ miles. Extreme in 400 miles in one day, and in at dark. Reliability was good, only minor problems, Hand warmers, E-start, and a temp sensor. We also hit a fair amount of cold weather, with a low of -32F. We had no accidents and no off-trail excursions. Conditions were dry, with a substantial melt-down on the last two days. Trails were perfect for 90% of the trip, typical of this time of year. |
