| This was a seven day ride around Gaspe, with a 1/2 day bonus ride before heading home. 1729 Miles total. Weather was great, the last day started with a foot of powder then changed to freezing rain. There were four of us, John, Tom, Marty, and myself. This was supposed to be a Wrangler Bob ride, but we had to do it ourselves. John booked all the rooms and everything went smooth, even when there were problems. The problems were highlighted by Marty blowing his 800-HO at 25 miles, luckily he had a backup. Tom had an off-trail excursion that lost him a day on the trail, but luckily it all worked out. |
