| We stayed at the Motel Safari (Bernard & Jocelyn, Owners), security was good and they have a heated garage for the sleds. This was about as early as you would want to ride. Grooming was just begining, and the trails were excellent, but some of the water crossings wern't passable. We rode to LaTuque on Saturday, about 270 miles, temperature was about -10 F. Sunday morning, we rode for about 90 miles, temperature was a more seasonable +28 F. This was a trip with John Sobr and myself. |
