| This was a last minute season opener with NE Bob, Darryl, Marty, and myself. We left from the Auberge Governour in Shawinigan on 12/28/2004. The First day was about 200 miles to L'Etape. Next, we rode about 125 miles to Roberval on Lac St-Jean. The final day was a ride back to Shawinigan, about 225 miles. The weather was fine, with about 6-8" of snow when leaving L'Etape. One surprise was running into Rob, of HCS, at a Relais outside of L'Etape. |
